Road blocked after two-car rush hour collision
A road in Hebburn has been closed off to traffic after two cars collided.
Northumbria Police said the incident in Finchale Road happened at 8.20am today, when an Audi A1 and a Volvo C70 were involved in a crash.
The road has been blocked by the vehicles, with recovery being arranged for the cars.
The route is expected to be fully open again shortly after 10am.
No one was hurt in the smash.
Go North East said its 9, 26 and 27 have been unable to access the street due to the incident.
