Road closure at South Shields seafront to last until end of week
A road closure at South Shields seafront is to stay in place for the rest of the week.
South Tyneside Council has closed off a section of Sea Road / Pier Parade (the A183) between Lawe Road and the Sea Hotel between 8am and 6pm each day.
This is to allow for resurfacing works. Diversions are in place. The work is due to be finished by 6pm on Friday.
