Back in December, 1974, Parkside Bowling Club club president James Stonehouse and Thomas Dawson, club chairman, were pictured with the Marshall Trophy, which was on show at the club’s annual presentation dinner. The club won the trophy in August of that year, becoming county champions.
We’ve also unearthed a picture of Jarrow Howdon Ferry, from August 1967 and West Harton sub post office, in Boldon Lane, South Shields, taken in December 1970.
As always, I’d love to hear your memories relating to any of the pictures featured.
