South Shields are a goal ahead heading into next Saturday's FA Vase semi-final second leg against Coleshill Town.

The Mariners will have home advantage in the second leg after their 2-1 win in the Midlands yesterday.

Shields fell behind as the game ticked into first half stoppage time, with Jordan Nadat forcing in the rebound after Liam Connell had saved his initial effort.

David Foley equalised two minutes after the break with a rebound of his own, before Andrew Stephenson nudged in the winner in the 90th minute to send the huge travelling support home happy.
