South Tyneside Against Bullying has made the call following a number of safety messages issued by the police.

Founder Callum Carr, said “While there’s new apps developing and young people are curious to try new platforms to engage, communicate and socialize with other online users, the main responsibility is for parents to ensure their children are educated around internet safety and that the parents are also up to date with the latest technology and platforms.”
