South Shields-born Jade announces huge Lily Allen collaboration
A surprise track including South Shields-born star Jade Thirlwall has been released.
Jade has been announced as a guest collaborator on a song with Lily Allen.
Allen’s latest album, West End Girl, was released in October 2025 and the autobiographical songs quickly captivated audiences.
Following from the success of the release, the star has teamed up with South Shields-born singer Jade to release a remix of alum track ‘Beg For It.’
This is the second summer Jade has released a one-off collaboration track after teaming up with Australian group Confidence Man last summer for their single ‘Gossip’.
The new remix was released on Friday, May 29 and is with the public less than a month before Allen starts her UK arena tour in the North East.
On Tuesday, June 16 she will kick off the run of shows at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.
Jade Thirwall, best known as a former membr of Little Mix, released her debut solo album ‘That’s Showbiz, Baby’ in September 2025.
