Dedicated South Shields care home worker celebrates long service award after a decade of caring
South Shields care assistant has been rewarded for her long service in healthcare.
Dedicated care assistant Shauna Dixon from Harton Grange care home in South Shields has received a prestigious Long Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester Healthcare for 10 years.
Shauna was inspired by her Nana and followed her into caring as a career. She started at Barchester in June 2016 and has worked with the residents and their relatives at Harton Grange, ensuring that all their needs are met ever since. Shauna is passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and helping them to live life to the fullest.
Adele Keenan, Employee Services Director at Barchester said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Shauna has achieved this milestone. It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with the best possible care.”
