A young actor from South Shields is among nine North East children to have featured in a film promoting the region to the world.
Brayden Narang shot his scenes with North East production company True Moon Pictures at a manufacturing training facility close to the Nissan site in Sunderland and appears in a short film highlighting the investment opportunities across the North East.

Each of the nine children were hand picked with one representing each area of the region.
The ten year old, who has already appeared in Vera, as well as in a Bollywood movie set to be released later this year, played the part of a member of production staff working in a manufacturing facility, for a film that was unveiled by Mayor Kim McGuinness at an event in Leeds.
Brayden, who is signed to a local talent agency, said: “It’s been really nice and it’s been really fun to be in this film.
“My biggest dream would be to be an actor in a movie when I grow up. I have learned a lot and am really excited to see the film.”

Leanne, Brayden’s mother, added: “His personality comes across first then things click.
“When he did Vera we weren’t sure if that was the path he wanted to go down but he’s home educated so he’s around a lot of adults and loves meeting people.”
She believes his confidence in front of the camera comes from his father, Vikas, who was a director in India and has supported Brayden with his early career.
The family has also thanked the film’s producer Carley Armstrong, the cast and crew, director Danny Baker, filmmaker Dan Hansom and Cinematographer Kyle Heslop and Camilla Fox of Fox Casting, who are all based in the North East.
Producer Carley Armstrong said: “From the very beginning, this project was about placing young people from the North East at the centre of the story. Brayden brought a brilliant energy to the film and represents the next generation growing up in a region full of ambition, industry and opportunity.
“It was incredibly important to us that the film felt authentic to the communities and young people it represents.”
