South Shields seafood restaurant welcomes star of BBC show Traitors as they visit the North East
A top TV star was welcomed to one of the borough’s top restaurants after a public appearance.
A star of one of the UK’s favourite TV shows was welcomed to South Tyneside by a well loved restaurant.
In addition to his roles as a presenter and filmmaker, David Olusoga was part of the cast of the BBC gameshow Celebraity Traitors.

Olusoga, who was raised in Gateshead, was recently in the region for the latest edition of the South Shields Lecture, a series of events which see famous faces speak to crowds in the Borough.
Olusoga was at Harton Academy for the event which is organised by politician David Miliband.
Following the event, Colmans Fish and Chips took to social media, saying: “We were honored to welcome the distinguished historian, BAFTA-winning filmmaker, and Traitors finalist, David Olusoga, to Colmans this past weekend for a private dinner after the South Shields annual lecture - a brilliant and inspiring man!”
