South Tyneside road closed following collision
A South Tyneside road was closed for over an hour following a collision.
Police were called to Nevison Avenue at Whiteleas in South Shields this afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said they were called at 4.34pm following a one-vehicle incident.
She said it was a non-serious incident and the road re-opened at 6.13pm.
