South Tyneside urged to take part in North East youth census - here's who is needed
The people of South Tyneside are being urged to take part in the Youth Voice Census 2026.
Young people aged 11–30 across South Tyneside are being asked to share their views through the Youth Voice Census.

The census is an anonymous survey about life, education and work, and what would help create a fairer deal and better opportunities.
Speaking about the census’ importance, North East Mayor Kim McGuinness said: “The Youth Voice Census is a chance to tell us, honestly, what’s working and what isn’t – from getting to college or work, to finding the right training, to the support you need to thrive.”
The survey takes between 10 and 45 minutes to complete depending on your answers, and you can start and stop, saving progress as you go. Responses are completely anonymous.
Findings will help shape decisions on skills, training, employment and support.
The Youth Voice Census is open to anyone aged 11–30 living in the North East.
