These are the addresses subject to the most reported crime across South Tyneside during December.

The list is collated from official figures on the Home Office's Police.uk website and includes investigations which have been successfully completed, are still ongoing or have been discontinued. All locations are in South Shields unless otherwise stated.

Many of South Tyneside's main roads do not feature as they have been divided up into smaller sections by the figures. Numbers include incidents which have taken place "in the area of" streets and not just in the streets.

Twenty-three reported cases in and around Asda included 13 shoplifting instances.
Twenty-two cases included nine anti-social behaviour reports, six violence and sexual offences (classed together) and five public order offences
Thirteen reported cases in or near South Tyneside District Hospital included five violence and sexual offences (classed together) and three anti-social behaviour cases.
Thirteen reported offences including six cases of anti-social behaviour and three instances of shoplifting.
Twelve reported offences in the Keppel Street area included eight shoplifting cases and one drugs case.
Twelve reported offences in the Beech Grove area for what the police class as other crime. This may include forgery, perjury and other miscellaneous crime.
Eleven reported offences included eight shoplifting cases.
Eleven reported offences included five violence and sexual offences (classed together) and two burglaries.
Eleven reported offences in the Station Road area of Glen Street included seven shoplifting investigations.
Eleven reported offences included five violence and sexual offences (classed together) and four criminal damage and arson offences (classed together).
