Steve McClaren STILL head coach at Newcastle '“ no decision yet

Fans chanted for the club's head coach to be dismissed during yesterday's 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth.

After the game, McClaren vowed to fight on at the relegation-threatened club, which is 19th in the Premier League and a point adrift of safety.

However, the 54-year-old acknowledged it was for "other people to decide" whether he should continue in his role in his post-match Press conference.

Newcastle have made no comment since the game.

But the Gazette understands a final decision is yet to be made on his future.
