Sunderland make £11m bid for West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho - reports

As reported by the Echo earlier this week, the Black Cats have been tracking the Senegalese forward, who made a big impact in his first season in the Premier League.
Sakho was signed for £3.5million from Metz in the summer of 2014, netting 12 goals in 26 games during Allardyce’s spell in charge at Upton Park.

West Bromwich Albion are also tracking the 6ft 1ins striker, who is reported to be ready for a new challenge.
Allardyce and Sakho didn’t always see eye-to-eye during their time together, but he made an instant impact in a Hammers shirt, scoring eight goals in his first 10 games.
Sunderland are looking to bolster their attacking options, with out of contract duo Danny Graham and Steven Fletcher set to be released and Sakho – who has grown frustrated in London – could fit the bill.
