Sunderland may be unable to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window, but his relegation rivals look likely to.
Reports today claim that Swansea City – one of the teams battling against the drop along with Sunderland – will bring in three players next month.
However, another team at the bottom, Crystal Palace, could lose their star man.
