Ocean Beach Pleasure Park has already confirmed it will open its outdoor rides throughout the week from midday until 5pm, although this closing time is subject to weather and visitor numbers. The indoor attractions are expected to be open as usual.

The pleasure park has also announced plans for two firework shows to close the week. On Sunday, November 3, the site will host two displays, one at 6pm and a second at 8pm. Both shows are available to watch for free.

Plenty of sites across the region are gearing up for Halloween events with Jarrow Hall offering a trail and pumpkin carving available to enjoy from Thursday, October 24, when the focus is on toddler events, while the half term week can kick off with things to do for kids of school age over the weekend. Events can be booked through Jarrow Hall’s website.

These include Lego drop in sessions, allowing kids to play with the popular bricks while pumpkin painting and Halloween gardening craft sessions offer a spooky theme for the week.
