Theft, breaching restraining orders and allowing a dog to be out of control all dealt with by magistrates

The case was heard at South Tyneside Magistrates' Court.

Andrew Chaters, 31, of Leslie Avenue, Hebburn. Ordered to pay £525 in fines and costs for breach of a restraining order.

Andrew McMann, 33, of St Michael’s Court, South Shields. Ordered to pay £292 in fines and costs for breach of a restraining order.

Jamie Lee, 28, of Marsden Road, South Shields. Sentenced to four weeks in prison for breach of post sentence supervision requirements and theft.

Courtney Jamal, 20, of Boldon Lane, South Shields. Sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 60 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £170 costs for harassment.

Graham Edmond, 35, of Hazlitt Avenue, South Shields. Ordered to pay £305 in fines, costs, and compensation for criminal damage.

Gary Turbitt, 45, of Trinity Walk, South Shields. Sentenced to 26 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £315 in costs and compensation for two offences of sexual touching of a child, and for failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.

Katie Dickinson, 20, of Russell Street, Hebburn. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £215 costs for threatening behaviour.

Joe Cook, 22, of Cedar Drive, Jarrow. Sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 80 hours of unpaid work, 15 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay £85 costs for threatening behaviour.

Dillon Joyce, 24, of Dilston Terrace, Jarrow. Sentenced to four months in prison suspended for 12 months, 20 rehabilitation activity days, and ordered to pay £115 costs for threatening behaviour, and possessing a bladed article.

Sean Burnside, 33, of Rodin Avenue, South Shields. Sentenced to a community order of 12 months, 80 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £700 in compensation and costs for allowing a dog to run dangerously out of control.
