9. Eclipse (Spaniel Cross)
Eclipse is a delightful young girl who came into care as a stray. Since arriving, she has struggled in the shelter environment. She is is scared and nervous and, ultimately, shuts down spending a ton of time in her bed. However, Eclipse has spent some time on foster outside of the kennel where she presented as an entirely different dog allowing staff a great insight into the pocket rocket hiding beneath her fears. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

10. Prince (Belgian Malinois)
Prince has been nothing but a joy to be around in his time with at the shelter, he is confident, outgoing and very intelligent! He loves being in the company of people but seems to lack any kind of awareness to the fact he is not in fact a lap dog. He does sometimes jump up or even try to climb on your knee. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

11. Digit (Labrador Cross)
Digit is a lovely lady but is a little bit of a worrier and will need some confidence building and reassuring when she goes into her new home. She is an intelligent girl with lots of energy so will be looking for a home where she will have lots of exercise and mental stimulation. We feel she will thrive in an active household who has experience with slightly anxious dogs. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

12. Hamish
Hamish is a sweet but very shy and timid boy who has spent most of his time at the shelter being afraid and unsure of people. Hamish was born outside, and although his mum wasn’t feral and he was fed outside he had very limited interaction with people in his early life. When he was brought into the shelter he was very overwhelmed by it all, having spent his life living outside and without people, he responded by letting the staff know he was very scared and unhappy with the situation! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
