17. Ruddy and Sahara (Old Tyme Bulldog X English Mastiff)
Ruddy and Sahara are a wonderful pair of siblings, they are littermates who have never spent a day apart! Ruddy (right) is the more confident of the pair, Sahara (left) can be a little more worried and gains a lot of confidence from being with Ruddy – she definitely feels more insecure when he isn’t by her side. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

18. Winnie (Pocket Bully)
Winnie is a sweet and friendly little lady who can be a little shy when first meeting new people or in new environments but quickly becomes your new best friend! She’s a strong girl who can pull on the lead when excited to be first out on a walk but this settles down into walking nicely beside you, she likes to stay close. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

19. Merlin (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross)
Merlin is a lovely, friendly boy who will need an active family to keep up with him! He’s a strong lad with a tendency to pull on the lead, especially at the start of a walk. He will benefit from a handler who can help to calm him when he gets a little excited! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

20. Sammi
Sammi is a sweet young girl who although shy, has a friendly and affectionate nature. Sammi sadly came into the shelter with her litter of kittens. She was a great mam, who looked after her kittens well but she found it very stressful and would hiss at the staff if they approached, choosing to hide away in her safe space. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
