Metro services were hit by major disruptions on the network due to a problem with the power supply.

The suspension was in force between 11.30am on Tuesday and 12.15pm, with local buses accepting Metro tickets.
A Nexus spokesman said: “A power supply fault resulted in a service suspension between Monument and Jarrow / Brockley Whins.
“Engineers at the site checked over our power supply system.”
