No trains running on section of Metro due to overhead line works
Passengers travelling between South Gosforth and Heworth are set to experience disruption until after the weekend.
Tyne and Wear Metro have announced there will be no trains running in either direction between South Gosforth and Heworth Metro stations on Sunday, November 21 as work takes place to renew an overhead line.
A replacement bus service, the number 900 is currently in operation calling at or near to all stations between Regent Centre and Heworth.
The service is expected to resume on Monday, November 25.
