There will be no trains running, all stations are closed and there will be no replacement bus services as RMT members who work as drivers on the Tyne and Wear Metro take industrial action.
RMT members will take industrial action on Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21, as part of an ongoing dispute with system operator Nexus over their pay deal. Please see live updates here.
