Police on scene after crash in South Shields street
Police are on the scene following a car crash in a South Shields street.

It happened in Wenlock Road in the town earlier today.
Witnesses say police have been on the scene since the accident happened at about 11am.
Northumbria Police has been unable to provide any more details on the incident.
