Ryanair launches new flights to Zadar from Newcastle airport - and new policy in case of covid changes

Ryanair have announced that holiday makers will be able to fly from Newcastle to Zadar in sunny Croatia from July 2021.

Ryanair has announced it will be launching flights from Newcastle airport to Zadar in Croatia from July as part of the airline’s UK Summer 2021 schedule.

The new route to Zadar is due to start this July, with flights operating once weekly.

Fares booked by midnight on Thursday, April 1 via Ryanair’s website will be available from £19.99 for travel until the end of October 2021 as part of the airline’s seat sale to celebrate the new launch.

Sun seekers can book flights after April 1 to Zadar from Newcastle from £43 one way in August and from £37 in September.

Ryanair’s Commercial Director, Jason Mc Guinness, said: “We are pleased to announce a new Newcastle to Zadar route, commencing in July 2021 and flying once weekly as part of our UK Summer 2021 schedule.

"Mindful that Covid restrictions change regularly, customers can now book flights for a well-deserved break knowing that if they need to postpone or change their travel dates, they can do so up to two times with a zero change fee until the end of October 2021.”

The news follows the Prime Minister’s announcement last month that foreign holidays could be permitted from May 17, with hope that all Covid restrictions will be lifted on June 21.
