Buses are operating with limited capacity as people are being asked to keep greater distance between themselves on vehicles and also at bus stops.
Customers are being advised to sit in window seats and to leave the seats in front and behind empty, and not to sit directly behind the driver.

The new measures have been brought in following the latest government advice for people to return to work if they need to.
Stagecoach said: “Buses are here if you need them and play a vital role in letting people make necessary journeys.
“The safety of our customers and employees is our priority so, in line with government guidance, we’ve put in place further measures in England to help our customers to practise social distancing and travel on our services.”

Stagecoach added: “To allow for social distancing buses will have limited capacity. If your bus has a BUS FULL sign please be prepared to wait for the next bus.
“Please be kind and look out for other passengers who might need to travel more urgently than you.
“Let people off the bus before you get on and try to keep a safe distance between you, the driver and other customers.”

Stagecoach is inviting customers to give their feedback on the new measures including whether distancing was possible on their journey and the cleanliness of the buses.
