Trip was not pleasant
Just what is happening to taxis in South Tyneside? My last trip was not a pleasant experience, from the Littlehaven Hotel to The Nook.

The driver didn’t know where The Nook was. I was flummoxed, my attempted explanation was rewarded with an intimidating glare.
This cab company is buying out rivals. A couple of months ago the same company sent a taxi to The Cottage pub in Cleadon. The driver did not know where South Shields town centre was as he had recently arrived from abroad.
