She belted out Jess Glynne’s Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself in her blind audition, but coaches Boy George, Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson and failed to turn their chairs and take her through to the next round.

Olivia, who attends Poppleton School of Dance in Jarrow, said: “Nobody turned around, but I didn’t really expect much from it to be honest.

“I’d fully prepared myself to just go out there and have fun. I just love being on stage and it was amazing.”

Olivia, who lives with mum Ashley, dad Derek and big brother Jack, 21, added: “Obviously it was a bit upsetting that none of them turned round but I loved it. It was such an amazing experience and it was a pleasure to meet all of them. It was surreal.

“They’ve got the kind of career that I want to have so even just getting to stand up there and sing was worth it because it was great experience for me.”
