Wardens are rare breed
Steve Southgate in his letter '˜Clear up your dog's mess' (February 1) mentioned contacting the dog warden team.
Surely, an endangered species for in all the years I’ve been tramping about Shields with the border collie I have only spotted them twice.
On both occasions handing out poo bags down at Trow Rocks in the summer months.
A fed up allotment holder has put this notice on his gate: ‘Dog owners do your bit, please pick up your dos’ mess.”
