Jet2 is waving off its first flights to three new summer destinations from Newcastle Airport as demand for European sunshine and city breaks continues to grow.
The first flight to Porto departed on May 22, with twice-weekly services operating every Monday and Friday.
Jet2’s inaugural flight to Palermo will depart on May 26, with weekly Tuesday services operating throughout the summer.
Weekly Wednesday flights to Preveza will begin on May 27.
