Hour-by-hour weather forecast as South Tyneside temperatures set to soar to 24°C
South Tyneside is set for another lovely summer day as the heat wave continues.

It will be mostly sunny with some cloud developing in the early evening and it will get breezier throughout the day.

"Most areas should stay dry throughout, although there is a chance of isolated showers developing later.
