South Tyneside weather forecast: Day-by-day forecast as temperatures are set to soar

Here is what the weather will be like in South Tyneside over the next week as Met Office forecasters predict a rise in temperatures.

The region enjoyed some of its warmest days of the year at the end of May, however throughout June, temperatures haven’t quite matched up.

Met Office forecasters are predicting a rise back to the levels we saw at the end of last month.

Here is what the weather is expected to be over the next week, according to the Met Office:

What will the weather be like on Monday, June 22?

Forecasters are predicting that it will be a cloudy day, however temperatures are still expected to increase with highs of 20°C.

At 5pm, the temperature is due to hit 20°C with some sunny spells as we head into the evening.

It looks like it could be a warm night, with temperatures at 11pm predicted to be around 18°C.

Hayfever sufferers will be disappointed to learn that the pollen count is expected to be very high.

What will the weather be like on Tuesday, June 23?

Some sunny spells are expected on Tuesday morning, however a cloud covering will be in place by lunch time.

Forecasts are suggesting there will be a cloudy afternoon, however rain is not expected.

By 4pm, temperatures are set to hit the daily high of 24°C with the clouds disappearing at around 6pm.

Just like Monday, a warm night is expected, with temperatures averaging around 19°C.

The pollen count is also expected to be very high on Tuesday.

What will the weather be like on Wednesday, June 24?

Unlike the previous two days, there looks to be no cloud covering.

Much like Monday and Tuesday, the pollen count will remain very high, meaning hayfever sufferers will have to take precautions.

What will the weather be like on Thursday, June 25?

Thursday is looking like it will be a cooler day than the rest of the week.

Temperatures are not expected to reach anything over 20°C.

Despite this, a sunny day is still forecast by the Met Office.

What will the weather be like on Friday, June 26?

Much like Wednesday and Thursday, it will be a sunny day however a cloud covering as expected towards the evening.

There will be some relief for those with hayfever, pollen levels are expected to drop slightly heading into the weekend.

What will the weather be like on Saturday, June 27?

Highs of 21°C are expected on Saturday.

It looks set to be a cloudy day with some sunny spells.

What will the weather be like on Sunday, June 28?

Much like Saturday, Sunday is expected to be cloudy with various sunny spells.

It will be slightly cooler, with highs of 19°C.
