According to weather forecasters South Tyneside can expect to see some sunny spells as people enjoy a second week in the city’s pubs and restaurants, following the easing of lockdown.
This weekend will also see the return of grassroots sports with cricket to resume and outdoor swimming pools set to reopen on Saturday, July 11, following an announcement from the Culture Secretary yesterday.

Expect light rain changing to cloudy by the afternoon, with highs of 15C.
There is a 40% chance of showers in the evening.
Saturday, July 11
Conditions will be sunny, changing to light showers by lunchtime, with temperatures up to 18C and small chance of showers.
Sunday, July 12
Sunday should be a fine day, with sunny intervals changing to cloudy by late morning and highs of 20C.
The chance of rain is low.
