South Tyneside youngsters can access free surfing sessions.
South Shields Surf School, on the Promenade, at the South Shields seafront has announced that children on free school meals can access surfing sessions for free with their after school club.
Starting on Friday, April 24, children aged between eight and 16-years-old can take part in the sessions.

The surf school has stated that if there is no waves during the sessions, youngsters will be able to take part in paddle boarding and snorkelling.
