West Ham and Palace consider moves for Newcastle striker
Aleksandar Mitrovic is wanted by Crystal Palace and West Ham United, according to a report today.
The Sunday Express claim the two struggling Premier League clubs are considering bidding for Mitrovic in next month's transfer window.
Palace, managed by Alan Pardew, and West Ham need more firepower in the second half of the campaign.
Mitrovic has scored five goals for Championship-leading Newcastle so far this season, but he has often found himself among the substitutes.
The 22-year-old, signed from Anderlecht last year, came off the bench late in Friday night's controversial 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
United manager Rafa Benitez, however, does not need to sell in the January window.
