Will we see any sun in South Shields this weekend?


As we approach the autumn season, we are now beginning to accept that the chance of sun and high temperatures are small.
We've been loaded with wind and rainy spells in South Tyneside this week with a limited amount of sun.

Hide AdAnd unfortunately any prays of the weekend bringing a better weather outlook have not been answered as it looks set to continue in similar fashion.
On Friday, the rain is expected strike at 11am and develop right through to 2pm.
Temperatures will rise to 14° at 10am and will stay that way until 6pm when it drops to 13° before it begins to get dark at 9pm.

Hide AdThe rain looks set to stay away on Saturday with bright spells anticipated throughout, reaching highs of 16° as the clock hits 4pm.
However, it's grim reading for Sunday with a band of heavy rain expected in the early hours of the morning with strong winds accompaying it. It should be relatively dry in the day time, though, with temperature set to hit as high as 18° come 1pm.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Saturday, mostly dry with bright spells. Overnight into Sunday a band of heavy rain and strong winds will move quickly across the area. Clearing to leave a mostly dry Monday.
