Our letter writer fears South Tyneside District Hospital will eventually be home to housing.

The story in the Gazette last month said £13.7million was needed to repair South Tyneside Hospital.

The day after this October 30 story, it was said there were 30 potential care solutions being considered and nothing is off the table.
