Another month, another modest line-up for Amazon Prime.

But those seeking quality over quantity will still find much to enjoy. Including an Oscar-nominated drama, the return of crime sleeper-hit Sneaky Pete, and a brand new thriller series starring Jeff Daniels.

What is it? Starring Jeff Daniels and Alec Baldwin, this 10-episode series is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning exposé of the same name by Lawrence Wright.

    Sneaky Pete (Season 2)

What is it? Sneaky Pete - executive produced by Bryan Cranston - debuted to little fanfare, pleasantly surprising many viewers.

It told the story of Marius, a man who stole his cellmate Pete’s identity, returning to Pete’s family and pretending to be their estranged son in a bid to hide from a gangster on the hunt. In Season 2, thugs believing Marius is the real Pete kidnap him and threaten to kill his family unless he takes them to Pete’s estranged mother Maggie, and the millions she stole from them.

What is it? John Boyega stars in this hard hitting account of the civil unrest that rocked Detroit in the summer of 1967, directed by Kathryn Bigelow.

When a group of rogue police officers respond to a complaint with retribution rather than justice on their minds, things soon spiral out of control.
