For most people across the UK, home working has been the norm since the first lockdown was imposed back in March.
Now, nine months on, working, living and sleeping in the same environment every day may be getting old, particularly as the majority of offices aren’t expected to reopen for a while.
If you’re craving a change of scenery, one travel agency is offering the chance to go and work from a beautiful villa in Corfu for four weeks - completely free of charge.
CV Villas is inviting one lucky applicant and a friend to stay in one of its luxury Corfu villas for four weeks for free.
The agency will cover the cost of the flights, accommodation and wifi, allowing you to take a break from your home office and work from new surroundings for a short period.
The winning entrant will be whisked away to the beautiful Indiana villa on the Greek Island of Corfu, which is nestled just a short walk to Coyevinas beach, and comes with the added benefit of its own private pool and hot tub.
There are five bedrooms to choose from, offering plenty of space to relax, and it also includes a sun terrace with stunning far-reaching views.
The stay will last from 5 April to 3 May 2021, with flights from Gatwick airport provided.
And the winners can expect to enjoy sunny climes during their stay, with Corfu typically seeing temperatures of around 20C during April and 13 hours of sunshine per day.
Pete Brudenell, head of marketing at CV Villa, said, “With far more remote working options now available for employees, we certainly foresee groups using our villas as short-term offices in beautiful locations.
“Who wouldn’t want to do a Zoom call from a hot tub?”
How to apply
Entrants simply need to explain why they deserve a change of working environment for a month - such as being hunched over a breakfast table, or being forced to convert their living room into an office - to be in with a chance of winning.
To enter, just complete the online application form with your reason for wishing to stay at the villa, plus your contact details.
