The busy Bede Burn area has featured plenty of times in the Shields Gazette over the years.
But how many of these scenes do you remember from the Jarrow neighbourhood in these views from 1978 to 2022.
They include a church campaign, visitors from China, a new school uniform and award-winning athletes.
They also feature children in Nativity scenes and a crossing patrol memory from the 1980s.
