One of South Tyneside best loved fundraising events is back for 2026.
The team behind the popular Jarrow Relay for Life have announced that there is still time to sign up for the 2026 event, which takes place at Monkton Stadium on Saturday, July 11, as reported in the Shields Gazette.
The relay looks to provide the opportunity for cancer survivors to celebrate, for carers to be recognised and for those who have lost loved ones to remember.
To get you into the spirit of the event, have a look at these great views of the relay taking place between 2014 and 2021. They are all photo memories from the Shields Gazette archives.
