Cue the glitterball, cocktails and catch-ups with friends. We’ve got 11 fantastic photos from a South Shields night out to share with you from 15 years ago.
All of these brilliantly nostalgic pictures were submitted to the Shields Gazette in 2011 and we could not wait to share them again with you.
There are faces galore to recognise and we hope you spot someone you know in this great collection.
Get in touch if you do, or maybe you would like to tell us about some other aspect of South Tyneside’s past you would like to see in our retro section.
It might be your favourite pub, social club or nightclub. Perhaps there is a shop you would like to look back on or maybe you’d love to go back to your schooldays.
Whatever aspect of the borough’s past you would like to reminisce on, get in touch and tell us more by emailing [email protected]
