Happy faces, people socialising, summer sun and memories galore. We have it all in this step back in time to the Sand Dancer pub in South Shields.
It was 10 years ago when all of these photos were submitted to the Shields Gazette.
We just had to share them once more to enjoy scenes which are filled with smiling people. Tell us if you are pictured or if you can spot someone you know.
And you might also want to tell is which aspect of South Tyneside’s past you would love to see featured next in our retro section.
It could be your favourite pub or club, a shop or department store from times gone by or maybe a sporting moment that you cherish.
