13 Sunderland and South Tyneside connections to Soccer Aid 2025

There will be a galaxy of stars competing for the England and World XI teams at the charity match for Unicef on Sunday, including some very familiar faces in the North East.

Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe and Steph Houghton are just three of the people with Wearside links while Sir Mo Farah - star of the Great North Run - will be back on the pitch.
