Cue the glitz, the fun and the atmosphere of a Tinker Smiths night out in South Shields.
Can you believe it was 10 years ago when these people mingled at the Stanhope Street venue. There are faces galore to recognise in these photos which were submitted to the Shields Gazette in 2016.
Have a browse through our photo gallery and then get in touch to share your own memories.
Or maybe there is another pub, club, nightclub or restaurant from South Tyneside’s past that you would prefer us to put the spotlight on.
If so, tell us all about it and we will do our best to put it in the spotlight.
You might want us to focus on a school that you went to, or a factory you worked at. Let us help you to reunite with former school or workmates.
