What a smartly dressed lot they were! Your children, or maybe it is you in the picture, were photographed on their first day at school in South Tyneside.
These Shields Gazette photo memories take us back to 2005 and to scenes at Temple Park, Marine Park, Highfield and Stanhope Road schools.
Others come from All Saints, St Mary’s, St Bede’s and Simonside. We have also included reminders from Ashley Primary, Boldon CofE, and Dunn Street.
Have a browse and then get in touch with your own memories, or maybe there is another school you would like us to feature in the nostalgia section of the Shields Gazette.
