“They put 11 men behind the ball and wait to hit you on the break in your own half, and we will be aware of this tomorrow.

“I had to cancel training this week due to injuries as I couldn’t risk picking any more up.

“Marc Costello and Chris Smith both miss the game

“Alan Pegram and Lee McMahon are both injured, plus Craig Malley and James Talbot need to be handled properly from hamstring injuries as we have a busy few weeks ahead.

“Ross Toward and Callum Smith return as does Neil Scott back from London for the weekend and will play, replacing Chris Smith.

“It’s frustrating for me and Chris Thompson as we can’t pick teams with any consistency at the moment.

“Last Saturday’s defeat at Alnwick was our worst performance of the season, coming days after an 8-0 win.

“As a manager, if eight of your starting 11 are having a nightmare there is not much you can do.

“It has been a long week, but tomorrow is the perfect game to bounce back.”
