However, that can’t be said about Newcastle United this morning, after a report from the Daily Mail detailed an incident involving head coach Steve Bruce and Matt Ritchie.
The pair are said to have clashed when Ritchie called Bruce “a coward” after he blamed the Scotland international for failing to pass on tactical instructions during the 1-1 draw against Wolves.
Moments after the 31-year-old entered the field at St James’s Park on Saturday, the visitors equalised through Ruben Neves’ header.
Newcastle declined to comment on the incident at their Benton training base, though one source insisted that any issues between Bruce and Ritchie had been “resolved”.
Here, we take a look at 10 other training ground bust-ups that have made their way into the media:

5. Mario Balotelli and Roberto Mancini
Why always me? The incident happened in January 2013 at Manchester City when Mancini reportedly tried to drag Balotelli off the training pitch by his orange bib following a dangerous tackle. The striker resisted and eventually had to be restrained by teammates. Photo: ANDREW YATES

6. John Hartson and Eyal Berkovic
1998 - Berkovic reacted angrily to a tackle from Hartson in training by punching the Scottish striker in the gut. Hartson responded by kicking the Israeli in the head, something which he has expressed deep regret about ever since. Photo: Ross Kinnaird

7. Steven Taylor and Andy Carroll
It was widely reported that Steven Taylor suffered a suspected broken jaw when Andy Carroll discovered the defender had been texting his ex-partner. It was an incident that allegedly left both players needing surgery. Photo: Jamie McDonald

8. Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez
The pair clashed in Liverpool’s 3-1 win against Manchester City in November 2020 before it boiled over when they met on England duty a few days later in the canteen! Gomez was left with a cut underneath his right eye after Sterling put him in a headlock. Photo: Laurence Griffiths
