Who will go and who will stay? Will Steve Bruce get another striker, or a midfielder?
Here’s 23 deals that could be completed by the Magpies today.
5. Steven Caulker from Alanyaspor
Only really a goer if the likes of Ciaran Clark are subject to late bids. Around £2million is likely to be enough to land the former England international. | Getty Images Photo: Jordan Mansfield
6. Jamie Sterry to Football League
The full-back is probably down to fourth choice on the right. A move to League One or League Two could open up in the next few weeks. | Getty Images Photo: Ian MacNicol
7. Javier Manquillo back to Spain?
Manquillo has been the Magpies' Mr Consistent this summer but the club can only have so many right-backs. Krafth's arrival could see him chopped. | Getty Images Photo: Mark Runnacles
8. Andy Carroll on a free transfer
Probably depends on Dwight Gayle leaving. Bruce is a big fan and it would be a crowd-pleaser, but the manager seems intent on keeping Gayle. | Getty Images Photo: Catherine Ivill
