That’s according to the player’s agent Florin Manea, who spoke to TuttoJuve after the 19-year-old signed a new five-year deal with the Italian giants.

Dragusin was first linked with a move to St James’s Park in January as his contract ticked into the final months.

Dragusin has now put an end to speculation by committing his future to the Old Lady.

Manea said: "Yes, I can confirm that we have been contacted by several European clubs.

"Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Leipzig, Wolfsburg and even Tottenham were interested in the player, we presented the offers to the boy who, however, had no doubts and wanted to stay at Juventus.
