Aleksandar Mitrovic ruled out of Newcastle United reunion
Aleksandar Mitrovic will miss out on a reunion with Newcastle United after Fulham boss Scott Parker confirmed he will miss Sunday’s game through injury.
Steve Bruce’s side head to Craven Cottage 14 points above their hosts. Only last month had the tie been earmarked as a potential Premier League relegation decider.
Instead, the Magpies are searching for three points in order to beat last season’s points total (44) and end a turbulent season in positive fashion.
And Parker has revealed former Toon striker Mitrovic, along with Antonee Robinson and Tom Cairney, are unavailable.
Meanwhile, midfielder Harrison Reed is also facing a late fitness test.
The Cottagers boss said: "Mitro, Jedi and TC are all out for the weekend.
"Harrison has a little bit of an issue, we’ll make a call nearer the time."
Mitrovic was sold by Rafa Benitez to the West London club in 2018 for a reported £22million, rising to £27m.
The Serbian played 72 times for United, scoring 17 goals.
